Banana Bread


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

Cream: 1-1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter

Add and mix to the above: 2-unbeaten eggs
1-teaspoon vanilla

In another bowl mash 3-med size ripe bananas, mix in 1/4 Cup buttermilk.

In another bowl gently mix: 1-1/2 Cup flour
1-teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt

Alternatively add the creamed butter and sugar mixture and the banana mixture to the flour mixture. Mix gently till all is blended.

Put in a greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/4 hour. It is cooked when it separates from the sides of the pan and a toothpick in the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let cool, then remove from pan. Enjoy!
